Vienna, located on the banks of the Danube, is not only the political and economic center of Austria, but also the "World Music Capital" certified by the United Nations. This populous metropolis with 23 districts is famous for the opera in the Golden Hall, Princess Sissi's Schönbrunn Palace, and the fragrant coffee culture. As the crossroads of European culture, Vienna attracts more than 17 million tourists every year, of which 35% are families - this is the strategic vision of our client in choosing to create a parent-child space here.
First Meeting
When our client in Vienna approached us to create an indoor playground in a competitive market filled with trampoline parks and soft play centers, we knew differentiation would be key. From initial planning to final installation, we delivered a smart, engaging space—while overcoming unexpected challenges along the way.
The Challenge: Standing Out in a Crowded Market
The area already had multiple trampoline parks and traditional play centers. However, there are many schools and shopping malls around, which is suitable for park investment.
Our solution? A hybrid play experience with:
✔ Modular play structures (climbing nets, slides, ball pits, trampoline park, swing bridge, run wall, etc)
✔ Interactive digital games (Light Slide, Tag Area)
✔ A guest check-in system (wristbands for entry/exit tracking, Lockers)
This tech-forward approach helped the venue attract repeat visitors while simplifying operations.
The Installation Hurdle: Last-Minute Fireproofing
Midway through installation, local regulations required fireproof spray coating on the ceiling—a process that would cover everything in dust and delay the project.
Our Adaptive Approach:
1️⃣ Full Equipment Protection – We wrapped every installed structure in industrial-grade plastic sheeting, ensuring no damage from the spray.
2️⃣ Staged Workforce Deployment – Instead of keeping the whole team idle, we:
First Team completed pre-spray installation.
Second Team returned post-coating for final assembly.
3️⃣ Post-Spray Cleanup – After the fireproofing dried, we meticulously inspected and sanitized all play areas before reopening.
